'State of the Union,' Design Awards to be live-streamed

Apple has officially announced that the 2014 Worldwide Developers Conference will kick off on June 2nd at Moscone West in San Francisco, and run through the 6th. Registrations are due to open up on Monday, April 7th, at 10AM Pacific time (1PM Eastern). Entrants will be randomly selected, and notified if they got in by 5PM Pacific the same day. The company is also planning to offer 200 student scholarships granting people free tickets; the National Center for Women & Information Technology and its partners will help promote those scholarships to female developers.

Both the event's "State of the Union" presentation and the Apple Design Awards will be live-streamed via the WWDC website, giving people a chance to watch regardless of whether they got a ticket. Videos of the conference's 100+ technical sessions will be uploaded to the Apple developer portal as the conference goes on, but of course restricted to registered developers.

Those sessions will be hosted by Apple engineers, of which Apple is promising that over 1,000 will be at the conference, also handling more than 100 hands-on labs. Apple is further offering lunchtime sessions with guest speakers, and a "new series of get togethers focused on particular topics."

You have misrepresented the registration process. It opens TODAY and goes until next week April 7 – not opens April 7.

I see also many many many Mini Macs. But looking at it from a distance, it's the top part of Apple logo in white color with color background has a very interesting way of making it artistic.
