Withings announces retail debut of its new wireless blood pressure monitor, AMGA sponsorship
Health technology producer Withings has announced the retail debut of its wireless blood pressure monitor, which has achieved FDA clearance. Additionally, Withings has joined the American Medical Group Association's Measure Up/Pressure Down hypertension campaign as a project sponsor. Users can take measurements with the Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor by wrapping the cuff around one's arm, and turning on the device.
Automatically, it connects with a smartphone via Bluetooth and opens the Withings Health Mate application. By tapping the start button, the cuff inflates and commences taking systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as heart rate. Priced at $130, Withings' Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor can be purchased online.
