Kindle vs. iBooks
Yesterday in the MacNN forums, members began a debate about which e-book distribution service was better, Kindle or iBooks, after one Mac Elite stated that they think iBooks just might be better. "When I put the computer to sleep, does that affect ongoing transfers to and from the internet?" asks Mac Elite "rotuts" earlier today.
A conversation was started about how to get Kindle e-books and movies onto a MacBook when Mac Elite "jeff k" took to the forums late last week, asking others what to do. One Mac Elite is looking for a way to extend the life of a MacBook Air battery, and turned to the forums asking other members if they knew of any third party hardware that could be used after the battery dies.
Administrator "ghporter" was asking fellow forum goers if there would be anything that could cause an iPad battery to fail after he got his wife's iPad back from the police (it had been stolen), only to discover that the battery no longer held a charge.
