Apple seeds new beta of OS X 10.9.3 to developers

updated 02:26 pm EDT, Fri March 28, 2014

Testing focus remains unchanged

A new beta of OS X 10.9.3 is being seeded to developers, 13D28, accounts say. In release notes Apple asks for testing to continue in the same areas: audio, graphics drivers, Safari, and USB sync of contacts and calendars via iTunes. The updated beta follows an internal Apple-only distribution.

Apart from restoring tethered contact and calendar sync, v10.9.3 also improves support for external 4K monitors. There's no indication of when v10.9.3 will be released to the public, but Apple typically goes through several betas before it pushes out a major OS X patch.
