Nokia Lumia 630 allegedly leaks in video showing Windows Phone 8.1

updated 04:59 pm EDT, Fri March 28, 2014

New video believed to show Lumia 630, Windows Phone 8.1 features

A Nokia smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1 has reportedly appeared in a new leaked hands-on video. The surfaced clip allegedly shows the Lumia 630, thought to be codenamed Moneypenny, using the Microsoft mobile operating system, showing the Action Center, apps for podcasts and radio, the new store app, and the layout of the camera app in the upcoming release.

Spotted on a Chinese video-sharing site by WPCentral, the device appears to have software keys instead of capacitive versions, lacks a flash on the back for the rear camera, has a rear speaker at the bottom right corner, and volume and power buttons on the right-hand side. While the video shows Storage Sense, Battery Sense, Data Sense, and changes to Internet Explorer, there does not appear to be any sign of the Cortana virtual assistant, though this could be due to localization issues.

The Lumia 630 is expected to be revealed at Nokia's event on April 2nd, the first day of Microsoft's Build conference. It is rumored to have a 4.5-inch, 480x800-resolution display backed by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, and dual SIM card slots.
