Shops could fill in key gaps
New photos may suggest that Apple's upcoming store in Hannover, Germany is almost finished. The outlet has been under development since April 2013, and construction facades are still in place on the inside of the building. An Apple logo is now on display outside the shop though, and is being lit up at night, although it's still covered. It's believed that the location could open as soon as next month.
Another photo appears to show construction starting on Apple's long-in-development Edinburgh outlet in Scotland. For years news about the site has been mostly silent, so it's not clear what's been impeding Apple's progress. When the shop might open also remains unknown.
Both shops should fill important gaps in their respective countries, since neither Edinburgh nor Hannover have had an Apple Store before. The only ones in Scotland are located in Aberdeen and Glasgow.
