Sonos introduces new Sonos app for Android, iOS version to follow
Sonos, a company specializing in home audio, has announced its new controller app for Android, with an iOS version in the works. Offering a redesigned interface, the app focuses on providing intuitive navigation between its three main modules. Users can switch between currently playing music on one's Sonos device, what room it is playing in and how to find the next song to play. Its universal search function combines streaming services (such as Pandora or Spotify) together to provide centralized searching for an artist in one window, and searching for that artist across all subscribed services simultaneously. Currently available in a beta format, Android users interested in testing the new app can log into their Sonos account for more information.
