Leak claims to show LG Lucid 3 with Verizon branding, 4G LTE

updated 09:30 pm EDT, Sat March 15, 2014

Update to LG Lucid device range spotted on Twitter

Another member of the LG Lucid device family could be on the way, according to a new leaked image. The LG Lucid 3, thought to have the model number VS876, is pictured in the leak with branding for Verizon Wireless, leaving little doubt as to where it is destined, with the device seemingly starting to incorporate more modern aspects into its design compared to its predecessors.

The leak from the @evleaks Twitter account shows a device with corners that are more rounded than before, along with capacitive buttons and an oval-shaped physical button directly below the display. Aside from the Verizon branding and a logo touting its 4G LTE connectivity, the LG Lucid 3 has a relatively sedate back, lacking the buttons of the LG G 2 series of devices, but still using a textured finish, and offering a rear camera of unknown specification with a flash.

While there is not yet a release date, a launch date, nor details relating to its specifications, Phone Arena estimates it may follow a similar release schedule to the LG Lucid and LG Lucid 2, in that it could be launching at the end of this month.
