Post-photograph refocusing touted in Telstra HTC One marketing sheet
The dual camera system in HTC's updated "All New" One smartphone, also known as the M8, will allow the user to select the focal point of a photograph after the image has been taken, according to details in a leaked advertisement. The marketing material for Telstra of Australia advises users of the "Duo Camera" to "soften backgrounds and add 3D effects" to images taken with the smartphone.
The advertisement, shown by GSM Arena, does not explain what the effects are, nor the resolution or other major features of the camera pairing, but does claim improved photography in low-light situations. It also mentions that HTC Sense 6.0 will have an option to turn the phone on by tapping the screen twice, and will have a 5-inch 1080p display.
