MSI has used the CeBIT trade show in Germany to tease a new gaming notebook in its GS range, one which can be supplied with a high-resolution display. The GS60 Ghost Pro measures three quarters of an inch thick and weighs 4.4 pounds, yet manages to squeeze in a 15.6-inch screen with resolution options ranging from Full HD to 3K, namely a resolution of 2,880x1,620.

Customers will have the choice of internal components, according to Engadget, with processor options running to an Intel Core i7 processor, storage extending to dual SSD in Super RAID with an additional hard drive, and will be using an unannounced Nvidia GPU, believed to be based on the Maxwell architecture. Photos show it as having three USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI, Ethernet, and audio input and outputs, and while it is said to offer 802.11ac Wi-Fi, it is likely to also offer Bluetooth connectivity, with Liliputing claiming it will have 16GB of RAM and an optional Blu-ray writer.

Expected to start shipping April, the GS60 Ghost Pro is expected to cost 1,600 euro ($2,200) with base specifications, rising up to 2,000 euro ($2,800.)
