Ubisoft's 'hack everything' game to be released May 2014
Ubisoft's open world, cyber-espionage title Watch_Dogs now has official release dates of May 27 for North America and May 29 for the rest of the world on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The game was pushed in back in October 2013 from its original release window, which coincided with Ubisoft's fiscal year-end of March. Watch_Dogs was originally pinned to be a launch title for the newest generation of consoles, but had been delayed to this spring in order to allow more time for its development. Gamers holding out for the Wii U version will have longer to wait, as a release date for Nintendo's console has yet to be confirmed.
Oscar Mayer offers iOS device to deliver the scent of bacon
Not to be outdone by the Scentee, Oscar Mayer has announced an alarm clock that offers iPhone users the ability to wake up to the smell of bacon through a device that sends a puff of scent into the air. Users must download an app, that is currently available on iTunes, to use the phone accessory -- which is similar to the device from Japan that hit North America in February. Oscar Mayer's version is currently in beta testing, with the company giving potential testers until April 4 to sign up for a chance to receive the device on their website.
