Tonewood Products introduces iPhone cases made from premium wood

Tonewood Products has introduced a new line of iPhone cases. Built from guitar tonewoods such as maple, mahogany and rosewood, the company's wood-grain holders protect the phone while recreating the aesthetic of an acoustic guitar. Available for iPhone 4, 4s, 5 and 5s, the cases feature wooden volume and power buttons. Tonewood's phone case pricing begins at $80.

Where To? iPhone app updated, adds sending location information to Mercedes-Benz vehicles

iPhone app Where To? has received an update, featuring the new ability to send local search results to iOS-enabled Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Intended for navigating oneself in an unfamiliar place, Where To? utilizes GPS to locate a searched area based on 700 business categories, such as a locksmith, post office, or liquor store. Results are displayed on a map or in a list, and are sorted by distance. FutureTap, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, has developed the newly-included method of sending location information directly to the car interface. After selecting the destination in the app, it can be sent to the Merecedes-Benz "cockpit" by way of a tapping gesture. The location is displayed in the car head unit and the on-board navigation system directs the driver to the destination without requiring entering the address first. Where To? is available for download $3 for new users, with the update free for those already using the app.
