Soundhound update for iOS features an "Add to Spotify" button
Music search and discovery app Soundhound has launched a new feature for iOS users. Integrating Spotify, Soundhound now includes an "Add to Spotify" function, allowing users to turn discovered music into a playlists within Spotify, without leaving the Soundhound app. Users can either automatically add songs, or tap the 'Add to Playlist' icon on the Soundhound results page.
Previous to this new addition, Soundhound users could listen to discovered tracks on Spotify, but now playlists can be generated on Spotify inside Soundhound. SoundHound and Spotify accounts can be linked through the SoundHound registration process, allowing for discovered songs and playlists to be shared with other Spotify users. SoundHound's updated app can be downloaded free from the iTunes Store.
