updated 11:35 pm EST, Mon February 17, 2014

PrioVR gaming suit Kickstarter raises well over its fundraising goal

Motion-based game controller suit PrioVR, has surpassed its funding goal with $75,000 with 40 days remaining in its campaign. Consisting of a suit that can be configured in three ways -- a half-body suit, or two full-body styles adding leg movement -- PrioVR translates body movement into gameplay. Early-bird pricing for the full body suit is sold out, however the upper-body version, PrioVR Lite, can still be pledged for starting at $250. Delivery is expected in June, with the campaign ending on March 31.

Independent browser toolbar for documenting misinformation released

Rbutr has released an independent toolbar platform for documenting misinformation found online. The software add-on allows anyone to immediately query whether a page has been rebutted by others. Users can spotlight inaccurate or otherwise 'bad' information, which in turn promotes critical analysis without providing traffic to the source. Any webpage can be seen within the Rbutr toolbar by entering "rbutr.com/" in front of its URL. The address can then be shared without unintentional promotion of its content source, or contributing to search engine metrics. Rbutr is free, with the option to donate for using its service.
