Budget Galaxy Core Advance heading to US, Europe in coming months

Samsung will start to ship the Galaxy Core Advance in South Korea from tomorrow onwards, the company has revealed. Initially unveiled in late December, the follow-up to the Galaxy Core Plus and the Galaxy Core is a budget smartphone with a 4.7-inch, 800x480-resolution TFT display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Inside is 8GB of storage capacity that can be expanded by a 64GB microSD card, while the rear 5-megapixel autofocus camera sensor is accompanied by a VGA camera on the front. Connectivity over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and 3G is included, and it offers a 2,000mAh battery and physical keys on the front. Running on Android 4.2, the Galaxy Core Advance includes the S-Voice, S-Beam, and S-Translator apps typically seen on Samsung mobile devices, as well as an "Easy Mode" that makes the device simpler to use for those new to smartphones.
