Logitech releases its Global Fan Collection, flag-inspired mice

Logitech has announced the release of its new Global Fan Collection, comprised of flag-inspired designs for its popular wireless mouse. The Global Fan Collection features graphic designs that represent 14 nations' flags, intended for users who are enthusiastic about a country as well as its sport culture. Countries represented by the designs include the United States, Argentina, the UK, Brazil, France, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Switzerland, and more.

Equipped with optical tracking, the mice perform smoothly on a variety of surfaces. The Global Fan Collection mice are provided with a nano-receiver that allows the user to take their mouse with them and connect with up to six devices, and an on-off switch provides the option to conserve power and extend battery life. Available for $30, the Global Fan Collection mice can be purchased online.

Spacious 2 offers control of OS X spaces using mouse gestures, 2D mouse wheels

Spacious 2 has been released for OS X, offering users greater versatility when wanting to engage with Spaces. The software provides more control over how to switch Spaces or bring up Mission Control, facilitating configuration of the 2D mouse wheel and mouse buttons. The Spacious Navigator appears when the user moves their mouse to the borders of the screen, and clicking the Navigator switches to the next or previous Space. Quick app switching and quitting can be enabled, with a right-click on the Spacious Navigator accessing recently-used applications and Mission Control. Fully configurable, Spacious 2 provides a guided tour for users to learn about the variety of setup options available. Requiring OS X 10.8 or later, the program is priced at $14.
