WWE Network expected to arrive on Apple TV on February 24

A World Wrestling Entertainment app should appear on the Apple TV alongside the launch of the WWE Network on February 24, according to a now-deleted Facebook post (below) by a WWE PR representative. Aside from the launch date, the representative indicated that people will need a $10-per-month subscription to WWEN to access any of the app's content.

While the deletion of the post could mean the February 24 date is wrong, Apple has been continuously adding apps to the Apple TV during the past year, most recently Red Bull TV. The company is in fact believed to be working on some form of major update for the device, whether in terms of hardware or just software. Some possibilities could include the integration of a router, and/or support for games and Bluetooth controllers. So far, there has been no word on the set-top getting 4K compatibility.
