Samsung Poland shows hexa-core processor, LTE connectivity

Samsung has launched its rumored "Lite" version of the Galaxy Note 3 on its polish website, days after it revealed the Galaxy Grand Neo. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo takes after its namesake by having the same S Pen-based stylus input with its 5.5-inch display, though the 1080p resolution of the original has been exchanged for a 1280x720 resolution.

Two versions of the device will be available, according to Phone Arena, with the 3G model using a quad-core 1.6GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable memory. The LTE+ edition instead sports a hexa-core processor, comprising of two 1.7GHz Cortex A15 cores and four A7 cores clocked at 1.3GHz, with the same RAM and storage. Both versions include a rear 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front version, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, infrared, and a 3,100mAh battery. Just as with the Note 3, the phablet retains its fake leather backing.

Software features from the Note 3 also appear in the Note 3 Neo. Air Command, S Note, Multi-Window and other apps that use the S Pen make the transition, but it will be using Android 4.3 rather than the later Android 4.4.

Samsung has yet to reveal the pricing for the device, though considering the $355 cost of the Galaxy Grand Lite, it is likely to cost a lot more. Regional availability of the phablet is also unknown, though rumors suggest it will not be made available in the US and the UK.
