bug in Mavericks?

This week in the MacNN forums, members discuss bugs in Mavericks, slow MacBooks and more. After Grizzled Veteran "And.reg" upgraded to Mavericks late last week, a discovery was made that there was a bug in Spotlight that causes it to crash. Dedicated MacNNer "kenna" turned to the forums this week in hopes of finding a solution to a slow MacBook Pro problem that she fears may be the result of a dying hard drive.

Forum members discuss the way that iWork 2013 functions after one Fresh-Faced Recruit started a thread looking for some answers to specific problems. Junior Member "phkc070408" is looking for a way to rip a Blu-ray on their MacBook Pro so that it can be viewed on their iPad, and turned to the forums for some advice. Dedicated MacNNer "gregfripp" was asking fellow forum members questions about how to deal with Mail in OS X.
