Suggests February debut rather than March
Teaser signage has gone up at the location of Apple's future store in Rio de Janeiro, pointing to an opening in the near future. The site of the store, the Village Mall, has shared a photo of the signage via Instagram; the Apple logo uses a variant of a colored dots motif seen elsewhere, but done up in Brazil's national colors. Apple normally only puts up official signage a few weeks before a store launches.
Earlier reports have indicated that the store will open up in February or March, but February may now be the more likely window. The Village Mall store will be Apple's first-ever in Brazil.
