Ember for Mac and iOS update to be released January 28
RealMac Software has announced the upcoming release of its major update for Ember, for both Mac and iOS. The imaging organizer debuted for iOS the past December, and since then RealMac has been developing two new features for Version 1.1, including annotations and auto-importing. Smart Drawing and Text annotation functions that already exist for Mac will be added, as well as two new tools, Blur and Pixelate. Annotation tools will be available through a single In-App Purchase, priced at $5. Screen-shot auto-import ($1 IAP) will detect screenshots on the user's Camera Roll, and add them to the library, followed by syncing them via iCloud to other devices.
Ember for Mac Version 1.3 will have over 50 new additions and enhancements, with its biggest feature being that it adds the new annotation tool from iOS (Blur and Pixelate), a new library backup feature, the ability to download images via the Ember browser's contextual menu, and more. Launching January 28, the updates will be available on iTunes and the App Store.
