February estimates remain for US buyers
Apple's shipping estimates for the new Mac Pro have been pushed to March for customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific markets. Spotted by MacRumors, the shipping setbacks suggest the company is still attempting to accommodate strong demand for its high-end desktop systems.
Reports circulating just last week showed February shipping estimates for Mac Pro configurations sold to European customers, with some early orders being fulfilled earlier than expected.
Despite the delays for overseas orders, Apple has yet to change its February shipping estimates for orders placed from its US online store. Stock systems began arriving at the end of December for the earliest orders, while some custom configurations shipped at the beginning of January.
Separate reports suggest the company is not planning to stock its brick-and-mortar outlets with Mac Pro systems until March or April.
