Private social networking app receives iOS 7 design revamp

Second Gear has released the latest version of Glassboard this week, offering users a redesigned aesthetic to accompany iOS 7. A private social network tool for teams, Glassboard consists of multiple 'boards' that each represent a specific grouping of people. Within each board, users can share messages, photos, videos, files and location privately and securely. Second Gear recently acquired Glassboard from NewsGator, and with the change Glassboard 3.0 now offers a layout that reflects the design language of Apple's iOS 7.

Available for free from the iTunes store, Glassboard 3.0 requires iOS 6.0 or later.

Its Dropbox support and WiFi transfer mode accommodates files that are not immediately available on one's smartphone. PDF to Word is available for $5, and PDF to Text for $1 on iTunes.
