Benchmark claimed shows LG G2 mini with slower processor

Shown with quad-core 1.2GHz processor, qHD screen

LG's flagship smartphone could have a smaller stablemate in the future, according to a leaked set of specifications. The LG-D410, allegedly thought to be the LG G2 mini, has apparently surfaced in a GFX benchmark test, with the results suggesting that it will follow the same pattern as "mini" versions of some other devices in offering relatively restrained internals.

The device spotted by Webtrek.it appears to have a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, a step down from the 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 used in the LG G2. The display is also lower in quality than the original, at 540x960 instead of a 1080p resolution, but the display size itself is thought to be down from 5.2 inches to just over four inches. The results also show it as running Android KitKat.

If the benchmark is real, LG could end up showing off the device at CES in January or Mobile World Congress in February.
