iStopMotion 3.5 now supports Canon DSLR Live View
Boinx's iStopMotion 3.5 is officially available, and the company has further announced its support for live view with Canon DSLR cameras. The animating software is compatible with Canon's EOS 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 40D, 60D, 60Da, Rebel XSi, Rebel T2i and Rebel T5i. The iStopMotion's live preview function comes with a semitransparent onion skinning effect, allowing users to see their next shot and make adjustments prior to capturing the frame. Along with the enabling of this feature for Canon DSLRs, animated GIF export and screen capture are now available.
The full version of iStopMotion is currently priced at $50 on Boinx Software's site, and version 3.5 is a free update to those who are existing version 3 users. Requiring OS X 10.7.4 Lion or later, iStopMotion 3.5 is currently pending approval in the App store, to be available shortly.
