Ember offers image file organization, sync via iCloud
RealMac Software has launched its latest app for iOS, imaging organizer Ember (formerly known as LittleSnapper). Allowing users to collect images and organize them into projects, the compiled library can be synced via iCloud for accessing on a Mac, iPhone or iPad.
Intended to work with Ember for Mac (which has been updated to version 1.2.1), Ember for iOS provides portability for collecting images -- ideal for those who seek or capture images that inspire creative design for work or pleasure. Users can organize by idea with the use of the Collections feature, and apply tags to images, building 'Smart Collections' based on the tags and other metadata within one's library. Screenshots from a device's Camera Roll are automatically detected and marked as "Phone" and "Tablet." By typing in natural-language queries, users can search to find specific colors in their Ember library. Images can be shared through external social media and messaging apps such as Mail, AirDrop, Messages, Twitter and Facebook. Available for download on iTunes, Ember for iOS is free.
