Side Tree Software's programs on Mac App Store $1 throughout December

Side Tree Software has announced that all of its programs available at the App Store will be $1 each through the month of December. Starting today, apps such as Abuzzle, Equal, Mymyry, SlidePuzzle and Tribbi are available for the $1 sale price.

Abuzzle, currently 80 percent off, is an abstract puzzle game. Users can click-and-drag to manipulate the patterns and change colors, throughout 170 levels. Equal is a real-time expression calculator, that features variables, functions, templates and plaintext Import and Export. Mymyry is also 80 percent off, featuring memory-based puzzles that have the user attempt to recall what shape was at a given location. Tribbi, a Retina-resolution compatible game of falling pieces, is played against two walls of the board. When rows are cleared, the board rotates 90 degrees and new pieces are unlocked as levels progress. Side Tree's apps will be available for $1 each until December 31, 2013.

Spotify for iOS now offering Browse function on iPad as well as iPhone

Spotify, a music streaming service, has updated its app for iOS devices this week. Available as a free radio streaming app as well as a premium subscription service for customized listening, Spotify provides access to a large music library, and the ability to create personalized playlists.

In its latest release, users can access a Browse function on iPad as well as iPhone, searching for specific playlists. Social sharing is available, as well as toggling playlist visibility to others. Improvements on existing features include more responsive searching, streamlined sign-up and login, revamped look for playlists, and bug fixes. The Spotify app is available for free on iTunes.
