Valentina Studio 5.5 released, Paradigma offers Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials

Paradigma's cross-platform database management software for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows, Valentina Studio has been updated to v5.5 and 5.5 Pro. Offering new features for administration of database servers, Valentina Studio has improved report design features for datasource Microsoft SQL Server, additional administrator functions, and more. Valentina Studio Pro is regularly available for $200, and includes 12 months of free updates, while Valentina Studio is free.



In light of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale promotions, Paradigma is offering their Valentina software at a 50 percent discount through December 2. Valentina DB ADK, regularly priced at $200 and now $100, is a prompt database component for one's favorite development environment, that supports full object-relational and traditional db models. Valentina Studio Pro -- also on sale for $100 -- offers the features of Valentina Studio and SQL DIFF, with reports building, database administration, powerful diagramming with backward- and forward-engineering, and more. Lastly, Valentina Developer Network (on sale for $300) deploys a version of Reports and Database Server royalty-free with your projects, supporting OS X, Windows and Linux. All software can be downloaded from Paradigma's Valentina website.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified released for OS X

TransGaming has announced this week the release of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for OS X. Set in 1962, game centers around a top-secret government unit called The Bureau, which is investigating and concealing a series of mysterious attacks by an otherworldly enemy. As William Carter, game players lead their squad in the third-person tactical shooter with their mission to defend humanity.



The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for OS X requires 10.7.5 or higher, 15 GB of hard drive space, and 4GB RAM. Available for $35, gamers can purchase the game from the App Store.
