Refurbished aluminum Mac Pro and Mac mini

Apple's online store has a selection of refurbished desktop models that are on sale now. The Mac Pro with a 3.2GHz Intel quad-core Xeon processor, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive has been reduced by $360 to $2,139. For $4,589 is the refurbished Mac Pro with two 2.93GHz Intel 6-core Xeon processors, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.

A $260 discount is offered on the refurbished Mac mini with a 2.5GHz Intel dual-core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, now $539. Save $240 on the refurbished Mac mini with OS X server, a 2GHz Intel quad-core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and dual 500GB hard drives for $749. Priced at $929 is the refurbished Mac mini with OS X Server, a 2.3GHz Intel quad-core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and dual 1TB hard drives.

    don't bite on these deals for supercheap Mac Pro towers unless they have at least the Nehalem version of the Xeon processor... the performance jump from Woodcrest is significant.

    I'd like to see the Mac Pro model with TWO 2.93GHz TWELVE-CORE Xeon processors. I didn't know Apple ever built a 24-core Mac Pro.
