Pioneer release includes specialized SuperHero, Frontier variants
Following up on the release of flagship xStream and Infinite editions, e-on Software has shipped the Esprit, Studio, Complete, and Pioneer versions of Vue 2014, its scenery rendering software. As its name implies, Complete is intended to be a completely self-contained scenery tool. Studio is focused on vegetation, while Esprit is more basic still. Pioneer is a free, feature-limited edition of the software, meant to introduce people to concepts and the platform; images it produces include logos and watermarks.
There are two paid variants of Pioneer. Vue 3D SuperHero costs $20, which removes logos and watermarks while also including a 120-page starter guide. Vue Frontier ups the price to $99, but adds all the character rendering features associated with Poser and Daz|Studio, as well as the SkinVue Elite skin shader.
Also available are three updated Theme Packs: Science Fiction, Fairy Tale, and Fantasy. Each costs $50, and includes content such as sets, models, and atmosphere presets.
Esprit is $199 new; Studio is $399, and Complete is $599. Discounted upgrades are available for owners of Vue 10 and 11. Free upgrades are being provided for C.Club members, people with product subscriptions, and buyers of Vue 11 Esprit, Studio, or Complete after October 27. People who bought Vue 11 versions of the Theme Packs can download the 2014 content for free.
