updated 03:48 am EST, Fri November 29, 2013

Apple offering discounts on premier products, third-party products too

Apple's Black Friday deals are now live in Europe with discounts on a number of Apple's premier products. Savings of up to £61 can be had on the iPad Air, while savings of up to £81 can be enjoyed on Apple's MacBook range including the Air, and Pro lines, while iMac buyers can also save £81 across the range. Historically, Apple has offered upfront discounts on its products during its Black Friday sales, although the Apple online stores in Australia and New Zealand are offering customers Apple Store gift cards instead.

Apple's iPhones and the iPad mini with Retina display are notable as the only devices not to get a discount, although customers can save £15 on the non-Retina iPad mini and £25 on the iPad 2. Other Apple products to get discounts on the UK store include the iPod touch, iPod nano, Apple TV, AirPort Extreme, AirPort Time Capsule and a number of Apple accessories.

Some third-party products have also received discounts including the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition Quadricopter, the Apogee JAM Guitar Input, the Ultimate Ears BOOM Bluetooth Wireless speaker, the Bowers & Wilkins A5 AirPlay Wireless Music System, the LaCie 3TB d2 USB 3.0/Thunderbolt Series Hard Drive among others.
