updated 01:59 pm EST, Thu November 28, 2013

iPod touch available at lowest price from Target

Apple's fifth-generation iPod touch is available at a reduced price for Black Friday this year, with many online retailers competing for the lowest sale price. MacNN has found the best deal currently available is from Target, which sells the device at normal retail price but with a $50 gift card upon purchase, making the unit's net price $180 for the 16GB harddrive capacity, available in black or silver.

A refurbished iPod touch is also a discount option, with Apple offering refurbished 64 GB hard drive iPod touch in pink for $300.

iPad mini, iPad Air found at lowest price from Target, Staples

Apple's latest iPads have been highly sought during the kick-off of this weekend's Black Friday sales. Although many of the hottest deals have been rapidly selling out, the current best deals for iPad mini and iPad Air can be found online from Target and Staples.

Available in black and space gray, shoppers can grab the 16GB iPad Air from Target for $480 -- a $20 price reduction -- in addition to a $100 gift card, theoretically reducing the net price to $380. At Staples, shoppers can purchase a 64GB iPad mini in silver for $480 (regularly priced at $530).
