Up to $100 off MacBooks, iMacs; $70 off iPad Air, $90 Apple TV
Apple online retailer MacMall has launched its Black Friday sale early, with the company now offering discounts on selected Macs, the iPad Air, non-Retina iPad minis and Apple TV among other items and accessories. The specific discounts could mirror Apple's as-yet-unspecified Friday discounts, and hint that Apple doesn't intend to discount the limited-supply Retina iPad mini or its iPhone line at all this year.
As mentioned earlier, should Apple's sale prices reflect those of MacMall, the savings from the iPhone maker would likely come in the form of Apple gift cards rather than an actual change in price. The most significant offer from MacMall is a "doorbuster" that offers the mid-2012 11-inch MacBook Air (1.7GHz Core i5/4GB RAM/64GB storage) at just $700, a savings of $329 from its original retail price.
The retailer is also offering up to $102 off MacBook Air and Retina MacBook Pro models, as well as off the normal price of all iMac models. Buyers can get the current-generation Apple TV for $90 ($10 off), $21 off the current Airport Extreme and Time Capsule models, and up to $70 off an iPad Air (though the latter discount is available for phone orders only). There are also other discounts on non-Retina iPad minis, some iPods ($31 off iPod touch and $11 off other models), and a selection of Apple accessories.
MacMall customers can save further if they do not live in one of the nine states (CA, CO, GA, IL, MN, NC, NY, TN and WI) where MacMall charges sales tax compared to ordering from local retailers or Apple online.
