Ten One announces redesigned Pogo stylus

Ten One Design has announced a new version of its Pogo capacitive stylus for the iPad and other touchscreen devices. The new device provides greater grip and control over the stylus input than its predecessor, and Ten One will be introducing new, interchangeable tips later in the year. Those tips will clip onto the Pogo magnetically, allowing for more customization.

The new accessory also features a removable pen clip, making it easier to store like an actual pen. The new Pogo stylus is available for $20 online from Ten One Design. The magnetically interchangeable tips will arrive in late December.

Find'Em Tracking Bluetooth tags go with luggage, wallets, more

Find'Em Tracking has just announced the availability of its new loss prevention devices, which it claims are the thinnest in the world. The Find'Em Tracking tags slip into a wallet, purse, or bag, and alert users when they have walked away and left a possession somewhere. The tags pair with an app - available for iOS and Android - that connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0.

Using the app, Find'Em owners can be alerted once they are a specified distance from their possessions. Using Find'Em hot and cold radar, they can locate the lost possession, or they can use Find'Em Tracking to see the last GPS location of their belongings. They can also tell the Find'Em tag to sound a buzzer to more easily locate an item.

Find'Em tags are available for preorder at Find'Em Tracking's site. The tags cost $25 each, and Find'Em has a limited time preorder offer with two tags available for $45.

$20 is a ripoff for yet another capacitive "marshmallow on a stick" pointing device.
