iWork for iCloud gets file folders, collaboration details

updated 02:30 pm EST, Thu November 14, 2013

Web apps still officially in beta

Apple has made several minor updates to iWork for iCloud. The emphasis is on collaboration features, which now include a list of the people currently working on a project. Likewise, apps will display cursors and selections for each editor.

Separate changes include the addition of file folders for organizing documents, the option to print from the Tools menu, and the ability to right-click in Keynote to skip slides. Despite these improvements, all of the iWork web apps are still officially in beta.

The folder feature is a great welcome in helping to organize the dozens of files I have on iCloud. Thanks, Apple!
