updated 10:57 am EST, Wed November 13, 2013

Twitter client updated, re-adding former Tweetbot options before redesign

Tapbots has updated its Twitter client app for iOS, Tweetbot 3 ($3), restoring several former Tweetbot options that did not make it into the redesigned 3.0 app. Redesigned last month for iOS 7, Tweetbot 3 offers users native push notifications, customizable navigation, and a synced timeline position. Version 3.1 allows users to again set a list as their default timeline, as well as the ability to resize text. The round avatars that were introduced alongside the iOS7 redesign can now be set to square, and timeline badges can be hidden. Additionally, bug fixes, right swipe quick reply, and more are included in the update. The update is free, and Tweetbot 3 can be downloaded through iTunes for devices with iOS 7.
