Mad Catz working with Nvidia to add GameStream to M.O.J.O console

Streaming PC games to Android console could happen after launch

Mad Catz is working with Nvidia to add its GameStream technology to the M.O.J.O. Android game console. The device, shipping on December 10th, could see the same in-home game streaming technology used in the Nvidia Shield handheld console added to the low-cost Android device shortly after it goes on sale.

"We're talking to Nvidia and we hope to enable GameStream soon after the launch of the console," said Mad Catz Global PR Ddirector Alex Verrey to Engadget. GameStream is not the only technology that Mad Catz has its eye on, as Verrey advised that the company is "also very excited for Steam and we look at all these opportunities with interest."

GameStream, a system where video from a PC running a game is viewable and controlled by a separate device elsewhere on a network, has already been demonstrated on the Ouya, another game console devoted to Android titles, though there has yet to be any official confirmation it will be heading to it in the future.

The Mad Catz M.O.J.O. will be priced at $250 at launch.
