Apple updates GarageBand again, offering 'performance enhancements'

updated 08:59 pm EST, Wed November 6, 2013

Fixes minor bugs and addresses user issues

On Wednesday, Apple offered a minor tweaking of its recently-revamped GarageBand, bringing the new version up to 10.0.1. The update is said to address "a number of minor issues" along with minor tweaks and performance enhancements. GarageBand v10.0 was released alongside OS X Mavericks and other reworked iLife and iWork apps, and included an all-new sound and sample library and the addition of a "virtual session drummer" tool.

In addition, the app received a visual makeover to bring it more in line with the latest version of iOS, and also improved the range of virtual instruments. The update is available through Software Update and is 749MB in size.
