Sceptre launches energy-efficient 32-inch LED HDTV in US

Bulb life of HDTV claimed to last for more than five years

HDTV and PC display manufacturer Sceptre has unveiled a new television to its range, one which the company claims to be very energy efficient. The X322BV-HDR is a 32-inch LED HDTV that is Energy Star V6.0 compliant, its rated lamp life of over 50,000 hours allows it to be used for more than five years non-stop, and the claim that it has an estimated energy cost of $8.60 per year.

With a brush patterned bezel, the X322BV-HDR offers a 3D Comb Filter, MPEG noise reduction, and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. On the back are three HDMI inputs, one VGA port and a USB 2.0 port, with the HDTV also providing a 5.1 digital audio output to supplement its pair of 10-Watt speakers.

Available at Walmart, Amazon, NewEgg, Costco and others, the Sceptre X322BV-HDR is priced at $300.
