Wind Mobile pre-registration page for Nexus 5 pulled

Yet more leaks suggest that Google will be launching the Nexus 5 soon, thanks to a Canadian carrier and LG. Wind Mobile published and later pulled a pre-registration page for the Nexus 5, along with what could be a complete specification sheet for the device, while another photo shows that stock of the device may have already reached distributors.

The pre-registration page spotted by Android Central features a list of specifications that appears to correlate with earlier rumors. A 1080p, 4.95-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3, an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 1.3-megapixel front version, and a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 2GB of RAM are the main highlights, with 16GB and 32GB storage options, microUSB, SlimPort, dual microphones, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi also touted.

Images posted on the Neogaf forum are claimed to show one of LG Canada's distribution centers, with approximately 30,000 units waiting to be dispatched. Carphone Warehouse in the UK is also said to have its shipment of devices.

While various dates have been suggested for a launch, with the most recent rumor being a November 1st announcement alongside Android KitKat, it is highly likely that Google will put the device up for sale soon.
