beware of Cnet adware for Mac

Moderator "P" took to the MacNN forums today warning fellow Mac owners to beware of CNet, as they are pushing adware to Mac users. In the thread titled "upgrade Parallels or buy Fusion," forum-goers debate which software choice is the best to take for installing additional operating systems on Mac hardware. A poll is also included, so join in and cast a vote.

One Mac Elite in the medical field is wondering if Mavericks complies with HIPPA, as they are concerned that there might be a privacy risk. Forum members discuss using an iMac as an external monitor in a thread started earlier this week by a Junior Member who was wondering if their iMac had this feature enabled. One frustrated Senior User took to the forums after losing Wi-Fi in the thread titled "unable to set wifi straight again" and after a string of useful suggestions, something worked out for them which could be helpful to other users in the future.
