Nokia leak reveals aluminum construction for Lumia 929

Video shows off new aluminum Windows Phone device

Nokia appears to have a new, high build quality Windows Phone 8 device in the works, as a new video has emerged showing what is said to be the Lumia 929. The video showed up on the WPCentral forums, having been posted to the YouTube account of SDphones on Saturday. It appears to show a Lumia device with an aluminum construction, much like the company's Lumia 928 from earlier this year.

Images of the Lumia 929 showed up in September, showing a Verizon-branded device with a 5-inch screen. The aluminum build materials, though, could not be determined from the previous leaked images. The 929 is said to be a replacement for the 928, packing a larger screen and new interface capabilities.

The Verizon-exclusive 929's display is said to output at 1080p, allowing it to display three rows of Windows Phone Live Tiles. It may come with 32GB of Verizon cloud storage, and some rumors hold that accessing such storage will not count against a user's data plan.

There is no word on when the device will debut, but observers expect that it will be officially unveiled in the coming weeks, perhaps before Thanksgiving.
