Upgrade brings OS X Mavericks support, additional iOS functions

FTP administration and file-serving software CrushFTP has been updated to version 6.4, bringing with it support for OS X 10.9 Mavericks and additional support for iOS devices. The new update offers many changes and improvements, and fixes numerous bugs.

The additional integration for iOS devices added to the program allows for uploads of video and photos from Apple's mobile devices. HTML5 players have been added for a variety of video and audio formats if the user's browser supports it. Many Enterprise DMZ features to handle replication and high availability scenarios have been enhanced or upgraded. Scripting tool CrushTask has been enhanced to allow generation of temporary share links, tunnel controls, and additional variables.

The update for CrushFTP 6.4 is free to existing 6.x users. The program offers different pricing and abilities related to its target market, with the Home version retailing for $40 and the Enterprise edition going for $1,000. Many features in the Enterprise version are not available in the Home or Small Business versions.
