Concave screen, rear LG G2-style buttons shown on LG G Flex
New photos and a video demonstration for the oncoming LG G Flex have surfaced, this time shown with an active display. The smartphone, with its signature curved OLED screen, demonstrated the extent of its x-axis curvature on an Argentine television show, despite the company's apparent lack of announcement of the device.
The video from broadcaster Telefe is supplemented by photos from Federico Ini sent to The Verge. The curved screen is said to be six inches across, though it is unknown if this takes the curve into account, with both the top and bottom edges of the screen slightly curving inwards. The arrangement of buttons and the camera on the rear match that of the LG G2, with earlier rumors suggesting that the internal specifications will also be similar to the device.
Ini advises that the LG G Flex will be launching in South Korea next month, though it is not currently planned to launch in other countries.
