'Thumbs up!' to TouchID and more
While many MacNN forum goers have taken to the forums recently to converse about the things that bug them about the new iOS 7, a few have taken the time to comment on the quality of the new hardware itself. Clinically Insane member "subego" has nothing but praise for the implementation of the TouchID scanner on the iPhone 5s, with Moderator "Cold Warrior" quickly agreeing by stating "I believe the phrase you're looking for is 'childlike sense of wonder.' Yeah, it's great to use. Magical even."
Frustrated Forum Regular "zgall1" was having trouble with upgrading his iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0.2, stating that the upgrade "hangs about 30 percent of the way through" on multiple attempts. Forum Regular "raygol" turned to the forums this week in hopes that they could find an answer to their disappearing cursor problem. One Fresh-Faced Recruit recently lost his iPhone 4 battery charger, and was wondering if a portable battery charger could be used as a replacement, or would this harm the phone. Users unhappy about their experiences with Safari in iOS 7 continue to discuss the reasons why.
