Amazon revamps Kindle Fire line

Since their introduction, Amazon's Kindle Fire line of devices have typically occupied the "good enough" tier in tablets, but the retail giant's newest offering represents a notable step toward the sort of real, quality device CEO Jeff Bezos has promised for two years now. It's absolutely amazing how Jeff Bezos was able to get a far better display than the iPad Mini and keep the price of the tablet so low. I think Amazon is just embarrassing Apple on this point. Apple as a hardware company should not be getting upstaged by a near-profitless, non-hardware company like Amazon. As an Apple shareholder it's really frustrating to hear about how Amazon is challenging Apple for tablet domination when something like that shouldn't be happening from a company like Amazon. Samsung I could understand, but not Amazon. If that's the case, then Apple should be challenging Amazon when it comes to media content.
