US, Canada, China, Australia see new forecasts
Shipping times for the iPhone 5s have changed at Apple's online store, checks show. As recently as yesterday, the device was only listed as shipping in "October" for US buyers. Now orders are set to arrive in two to three weeks; the same forecast has been applied to the Canadian, Chinese, and Australian storefronts, and possibly others.
Although Apple's public estimates should in theory get people phones by late October, or the first week of November, some shoppers are reportedly seeing quotes as late as November 11th. Apple has been struggling with demand for the 5s since it launched on September 20th, and is expected to cope with even more shortages as it prepares a wider international rollout for October 25th.
