iOS Netflix now streams in HD
Netflix has launched an update for its iOS app, introducing support for HD playback and AirPlay streaming. With AirPlay streaming users can play content on an Apple TV while running the app in the background, which differs from the previous AirPlay mirroring option. Other changes in v5.0 include playback optimizations and stability improvements. The update is live in the App Store and requires iOS 7 for both HD streaming and AirPlay mirroring.
