AT&T rolls out LTE in 11 cities, expands coverage in 11 others

New markets range from Florida to Washington

AT&T has announced the latest cities to receive LTE coverage as the company continues to deploy its 4G network across the US. The rollout arrives in 11 cities for the first time, while the coverage footprint has been expanded in another 11 cities that previously had limited availability.

New cities added to the list include Selma, Alabama; Sebastian-Vero Beach, Florida; Cordele and Dublin, Georgia; Lake Charles, Louisiana; Mount Pleasant, Michigan; Brookhaven-McComb, Natchez and Picayune, Mississippi; Brenham, Texas; and Port Angeles, Washington.

Service expansion will be brought to Fort Pierce, Orlando and Tallahassee, Florida; Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia; Evansville, Kentucky; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Biloxi-Gulfport and Starkville, Mississippi; Columbia, South Carolina; and Washington, DC.

The company boasts widespread coverage in at least 22 major cities across the US, with more upgrades planned for the rest of the year.
