Skitch app updated for use with iOS 7 only

Evernote's picture-taking communication app, Skitch, has been updated to run soley on the new iOS 7 platform. Skitch 3.0.1 lets users take photos and instantly embellish them with text, shapes, and freehand notations. Sharing marked 'snapshots' can now be facilitated by AirDrop, as well as email or SMS, and additionally users can post Skitch creations online to share with social media followers. Images can be saved to and shared from a link generated by Evernote. Available on iTunes, Skitch is free to download.

Version 2.8 of Groupon app released, featuring credit card scanning

Groupon, an e-commerce company specializing in purchasable coupons, has released its latest app version for iOS. Version 2.8 of the Groupon app features the ability for users to make credit card transactions via their mobile device, by possessing credit card scanning. Named one of the top 25 most downloaded free apps in the US, the app eliminates the need for printing purchased deals, as users can redeem their vouchers directly from their iPhone or iPad. The app is a free download from the App Store.
